Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team for an exciting long-term contract with one of our esteemed clients, based in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey/Coral Spring, FL.

Job Description Summary (Data Architect)
- Core Architecture:
Design scalable, secure, end-to-end data solutions (ingestion to consumption) specifically for fraud detection and risk management. - Pipeline Development:
Build and optimize high-quality ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data using Spark, PySpark, and Databricks. - Cloud Implementation:
Implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure using Data Lake, Synapse, Event Hubs, Functions, and Key Vault. - ML
Collaboration:
Partner with data scientists to prepare datasets, support feature engineering, and operationalize machine learning models. - Governance & Leadership:
Establish data governance (metadata, lineage, quality) and provide technical leadership/mentoring to data engineers across squads. - Experience Level: Requires 15+ years of experience with a focus on deployment management and architectural standards.
