REPORTS TO:
Principal / Assistant Superintendent
JOB GOAL:
To help provide an instruction and learning environment which fosters the ability of each pupil to master mathematics skills appropriate to age, grade level and individual potential.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* New Jersey Instructional Certification in the appropriate subject matter and level preferred.
* 5-8 Math certificate or k-6 certification with advanced coursework in teaching mathematics preferred
* Minimum of three years of teaching experience preferred
* Strong knowledge of best practices and current research in math instruction and intervention
* Proven experience in fostering student achievement
* Experience using data to track, diagnosis, and remediate student learning in math
* Effective problem-solving, human relations, and communication skills
* Possesses a mindset of ongoing learning, experimentation, innovation, and enthusiasm
* Demonstrates a commitment to professional development
* Successful Criminal History Clearance.
* Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization.
* Salary: $46.00/hourly, maximum 29.5 hours per week
