Business Operations Analyst | P&C Insurance

This role supports active operational initiatives while identifying opportunities to improve business processes and supporting technology platforms. The position focuses on evaluating workflows, systems, and data to recommend and implement practical improvements. The analyst partners closely with cross-functional teams to assess current operations, support project execution, and act as a liaison between operational, technical, and service-oriented groups.

The role blends operational analysis, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement to improve efficiency, service outcomes, and scalability.

• Assess current operational workflows and document processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including procedures, workflows, and operational guidelines.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on proposed changes and support implementation efforts.
• Serve as a point of coordination between operational teams, business units, technology partners, and service teams.
• Support operational audits and evaluate the effectiveness of process improvements through feedback and performance metrics.
• Assist with training and knowledge transfer related to new processes, tools, or best practices.
• Apply business and industry knowledge to identify service-impacting issues and recommend solutions.
• Contribute to defining project scope, timelines, and business justifications.
• Support project execution activities including testing coordination, user acceptance testing, training preparation, and status reporting.
• Track outcomes of implemented changes using performance indicators and recommend adjustments to support continuous improvement.
• Assist with the adoption of tools, systems, and process enhancements that improve operational effectiveness.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Prior experience supporting operational projects, process improvement initiatives, or cross-functional programs.
• 5+ years of experience in business process analysis, operational improvement, or project-based work.
• Experience with process mapping and documentation techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or equivalent productivity tools.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Understanding of operational functions within a regulated or service-driven industry.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
