Position Summary

The Director, Integrated Insights, Market Research is responsible for leading the development and successful execution of market research by selecting appropriate methodologies for the US Oncology business across its portfolio. The individual will identify and address key business questions and provide insights to support decision‑making. This role works cross‑functionally with Market Access, Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure alignment of market research assumptions and methodologies, and to integrate insights into strategic planning and decision‑making processes.

The incumbent also oversees the development of market research plans, budgets, and implementation timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of market research plans for the US Oncology portfolio.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to support business objectives, both pre‑launch and post‑launch.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the US Oncology market, including key competitors, market dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure that market research projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in market research and incorporate them into the strategy.
  • Analyze and synthesize market research data to provide insights and recommendations to cross‑functional teams.
  • Ensure that market research insights are integrated into strategic planning and decision‑making processes.
  • Effectively partner and collaborate with US commercial cross‑functional partners and global partners to respond to critical business questions and ensure alignment on MR assumptions.
  • Develop market‑moving insights based on a thorough understanding of market dynamics, secondary data, and rigorous research‑driven insights.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and communicate high‑quality results, deliverables, and insights.
  • Engage senior leadership with strategic conversations and present research insights in formats that help stakeholders make informed decisions impacting patient care.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Economics, or Life Sciences.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in market research within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a strong focus in oncology.
  • Working knowledge of secondary data and its nuances as pertinent to the oncology market.
  • Comfortable and experienced in various market research approaches and techniques (qualitative/quantitative).
  • The ability to collaborate with a team and cross‑functional partners, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to provide insights that support decision‑making.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, including market trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Adaptability to changing business needs and priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Effective storytelling and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in US oncology primary and secondary market research is preferred.
  • Experience with market research software.
Expected Pay Range

$168,100/year to $268,700/year + benefits, annual bonus & equity (bonus and equity are variable and depend on company and individual performance). Compensation is based on responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
