• Review sales, use, and property tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze monthly tax data and recommend filing positions to minimize liability.
• Research tax treatment of leases; ensure exemption certificates are maintained.
• Advise remarketing group on tax implications of equipment sales.
• Resolve customer and collections issues related to tax charges.
• Monitor and respond to sales/use and property tax notices.
• Coordinate lessee billing and reconcile tax accounts to the general ledger.
• Research tax issues and monitor law changes for impact on filings.
• Serve as audit liaison; perform internal reviews and support audit responses.
• Manage return filings, signatures, and payments.
• Assist with the preparation of state and local income tax returns and schedules.
• Support state/local income tax audits and compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related.
• 5+ years of relevant tax experience, including Sales and Use Tax.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables essential).
• Property Tax experience preferred.
• Prior review experience required.
• Experience with OPT, Vertex;
  One Source a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and time management abilities.
