Job Summary

Mortgage World Bankers, a division of Ponce Bank, is hiring remote and hybrid Mortgage Loan Originators in New York and New Jersey. Applicants will proactively identify, develop, and maintain a high‑quality network of business relationships that serves as a source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities.

• Experience in residential mortgage sales.
• At least two years of retail residential mortgage sales experience.
• Documented residential mortgage loan volume of $12 million or more in the past 12 months.
• Established relationships with local referral partners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across a variety of audiences.
• Must meet all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including successful completion of required background checks and an active NMLS license.
• Multilingual skills are a plus.

Estimated annual earnings range from $50,000 to $120,000, depending on experience and performance. The position includes a base draw against commissions, providing a regular advance that is reconciled against earned commissions.

• Base Draw: A regular advance paid to provide income stability while commissions accrue.
• Commission:
  Earned based on loan volume and performance metrics.
• Total Compensation:
  Includes base draw plus commissions; high performers may exceed the top of the stated range.
