**** What You’ll Do
** As a CNC Operator, you’ll be part of our Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing team located in Berea, OH.
* Reads and interprets work instructions, prints, and job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions
* With assistance, troubleshoots, edits, and optimizes new production programs to ensure efficient overall production
* Calculates and sets machine controls to specific work orders and regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed, feed and coolant flow
* Document new program changes and processes to ensure setups can be duplicated and overall production time is optimized
* Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined work piece to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as fixed gauges, calipers, and micrometers
* Deburr parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications
* Follow all safety policies and procedures
* Setup machines on a flexible basis to ensure optimum output throughout the shop
* Perform other duties as assigned
** Qualifications and Requirements:
**
* Education and Experience:

1-3 years’ experience as CNC mill/lathe operator preferred
* Experience verifying dimensions of parts, using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, depth gauges, and / or fixed gauges
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to perform basic math
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
* Flexibility in work assignments
* Must be able to continuously perform grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking
* Must be able to handle continuous standing 8-10 hours daily
* Must be able to perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 70 lbs. with assistance
* Must be able to work daily and weekly overtime as required
* Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
