We are currently seeking a Director of Strategy to help develop and implement long-term strategic and annual operating plans, prioritize initiatives and allocate resources to support client care and program expansion.
Pay: $48,000-$60,000 a year
Compensation depends on education, licensures/certifications, and experience.
Essential Functions- Demonstrate the values and guiding principles of Ohio Guidestone every day, performing with the highest standards of excellence, integrity and ethics.
- Responsible for conducting all required department training courses and maintaining proper certification as a trainer in these areas.
- Identify, plan and deliver client training to department staff based on identified training needs.
- Responsible for providing training during assigned sessions or finding a suitable substitute if necessary.
- Develop monthly training schedule and coordinate with Agency Trainer.
- Interfaces with Human Resources and IT to obtain an accurate list of new staff cleared to start and accounts are accurately set up prior to training date.
- Ensure appropriate set up of training areas, including reserving space and coordinating with and Buildings and Grounds.
- Engage in promotional activities to market counseling.
- Participate in agency and community meetings and report to other contracting agencies as.
- Provide guidance to departmental managers and supervisors to identify training opportunities, assess professional development and communicate any performance deficiencies.
- Plans, prepares for and provides group supervision/team meetings on a weekly.
- Maintain accurate and detailed training records, supplies and training equipment including sign-in forms, technology and other required materials.
- May be involved in the planning, organization, and implementation of special events, specific projects, or program changes.
- Recruit, lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment through effective coaching, performance feedback, and career growth opportunities.
- Lead, coach, and mentor assigned direct reports, as well as oversee and uphold performance standards and the level of accountability within the department.
- Exhibit positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.
- Demonstrate positive leadership, promote a team-based work environment and a culture of belonging.
- Present the Agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts.
- Ability to maintain relevant, timely documentation as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work with a valid Ohio LSW.
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field is preferred.
- LPC, MFT, LISW or LPCC or IMFT, an in dependant license is is preferred.

- Ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and good professional judgment.
- Flexible; able to work days, evenings, and/or weekends, as desired to meet the needs of the department.
- Strong organizational skills; able to handle multiple priorities with strict attention to detail and perform work independently.
- Effective computer literacy skills, including Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic health records, etc.
- Must be able to access work locations, offices, and homes as necessary, which may include ascending/descending stairs.
- Proven ability to manage teams and ability to handle conflict resolution.
- Possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record and valid insurance.
- Successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including drug tests, background checks, and any other required assessments, such as a physical examination and TB test.
