Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world‑class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Manufacturing Engineer II-III based at our manufacturing facility located in Berea, Kentucky
.
- Lead and identify continuous improvement activities in manufacturing processes, including automation, robotics, and digital systems.
- Provide day-to-day support to resolve manufacturing issues and drive improvements across multiple value streams.
- Evaluate and optimize new and existing manufacturing processes to ensure they meet production, safety, and cost standards.
- Lead teams in continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, and 6σ methodologies.
- Develop specifications for equipment, tooling, materials, and processes to ensure the safe and efficient production of products.
- Support the introduction of new products and innovative manufacturing strategies in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
- Maintain accurate process documentation, engineering change notices, and quality records to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Drive projects focused on capital improvements, automation, and process optimization to enhance operational performance.
- A proactive and results‑driven leader who can drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- An analytical thinker with a strong ability to solve complex manufacturing problems and implement lasting solutions.
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, able to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.

What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5‑7 years of manufacturing experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 7‑10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
- Leadership:
Ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes. - Continuous Improvement:
In‑depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience in leading CI projects. - Project Management:
Experience in managing multiple projects and ensuring timely execution of process improvements. - Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams. - Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in key manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, assembly techniques, automation, PLC, and computer applications.
