We are seeking a visionary full-stack Lead Software Engineer to join our team building our flagship digital web presence,  The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in front-end technologies, a strong understanding of system integrations, and experience working with both in-house teams and outsourcing partners. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will architect and implement intuitive, engaging user interfaces, and manage the seamless integration of APIs, AI models, and back-end systems.

Your Responsibilities on the Team

Software Engineering:

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications with a strong emphasis on Next.js for both frontend and backend development.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to modern best practices and coding standards.
  • Build scalable front-end interfaces using React and Next.js, and robust back-end services using Node.js and .NET, leveraging both RESTful APIs and Graph

    QL.
  • Ensure performance, security, and scalability across the stack.
  • Leverage AI tooling to supercharge productivity.

Architecture and Design:

  • Contribute to the architecture and design of software systems, aligning with business goals and technical strategy.
  • Participate in technical design reviews, offering insights to improve system design and code quality.
  • Collaborate with Dev Ops and platform teams to integrate applications into CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops (ADO) and Git Hub Actions, and automate deployment workflows.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure (Azure, AWS) is a strong plus.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Develop and execute unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure software quality.
  • Identify and resolve defects and performance issues, conducting thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
  • Work closely with QA teams to implement and improve automated testing strategies and processes.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear updates and surfacing challenges proactively.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve incidents, including on-call rotation.

Mentorship and Leadership:

  • Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices.
  • Lead by example with a strong work ethic, commitment to quality, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Take ownership of features or projects, driving them from concept to completion with minimal supervision.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, especially in Next.js, .NET, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, refactoring, and technical enhancements.
  • Contribute to technical discussions and help shape the team’s evolving technical direction.

Requirements

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience:

    7+ years in software engineering, with a strong emphasis on full-stack development across modern web and backend technologies.
