Akkodis is seeking a Custom Software Engineer for a Contract with a client in Bentonville, AR
. Candidate will design and develop Java‑based microservices and build GCP data pipelines while managing cloud resources and CI/CD automation.
$59/hour to $61/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities- Designing and developing scalable Java‑based microservices using Spring Boot to support core application functionality.
- Building and maintaining GCP‑based data ingestion and processing pipelines utilizing Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
- Managing cloud infrastructure by deploying containerized applications on Kubernetes and configuring resources such as Big Query and Cloud Spanner.
- Implementing automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git Hub Actions to streamline deployments.
- Conducting code reviews while enforcing engineering best practices and guiding junior team members.
- Troubleshooting performance issues by performing RCA and optimizing SQL queries and system architecture.
- Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Candidate must have experience with strong Spring Boot and Java expertise.

$59.00 to $61.00 per hour
