Java Developer

The Java Developer will support the modernization of a pharmacy technology ecosystem by migrating existing workflows to cloud-based platforms.

This role focuses on building scalable, resilient services using modern Java technologies and event-driven architectures, while collaborating closely with architects and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Modernize and enhance components of the pharmacy technology ecosystem.
• Migrate existing application workflows to cloud environments.
• Design and implement asynchronous data processing and cloud-based service interactions.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement event-driven solutions using messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure application stability following changes.
• Collaborate with solution architects on technical design, code reviews, and best practices.
• Validate cloud deployments and support release activities.
• Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Approximately 6+ years of professional experience in Java application development.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience working in cloud environments.
• Experience implementing asynchronous processing and distributed system interactions.
• Experience with messaging or streaming technologies such as Kafka.
• Experience performing regression testing and validating application changes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross‑functional engineering teams.

• Experience supporting healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated industry systems.
• Familiarity with cloud‑native design patterns and microservices architectures.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
