Merchandising Lead

Overview

Position Summary... What you'll do...

• Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; offer guidance and support regarding self-service technology; assist with purchasing decisions; locate merchandise; resolve member issues and concerns; and promote the company's products and services.
• Assist management with supervising associates in the assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training on processes and procedures, and guiding associates on member service approaches to resolve issues per company guidelines.
• Receive and stock supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors; organize and maintain the sales floor using appropriate merchandising, documentation, and procedures.
• Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift, hazardous materials handling, and steel standard requirements; report unsafe situations to management.
• Ensure maintenance of the sales floor and merchandise presentation by handling claims and returns, zoning, stocking, organizing displays, pricing, identifying shrink, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
• Monitor food and merchandise quality including product rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation; manage area categories and keep departments stocked, zoned, and clean.
• Oversee picking and staging of club pick up orders and ensure products are selected and staged according to policy and procedures.
• Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; analyze information and identify improvements.
• Demonstrate and support compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and Open Door Policy; assist management in addressing ethical and compliance issues.
• Lead and participate in teams by allocating resources, determining customer needs and priorities, coordinating work, and supporting change adaptation.

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
