Quality Inspector; Short-Term Rental Properties

We are a boutique short-term rental management company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Checker to help ensure our homes are guest-ready before every check-in.

This role is critical to delivering five-star experiences. You will be the final set of eyes on each property, fine-tuning presentation, catching issues early, and protecting the quality of our brand.

Primary Goal of the Quality Checker

• Ensure both the interior and exterior of each property are clean, polished, and guest-ready
• Report all maintenance and cleanliness issues promptly
• Fine-tune guest first impressions
• Build and maintain a positive, respectful working relationship with cleaners and the admin team
• Support smooth operations across the team

Key Responsibilities

Quality Checks & Reporting

• Conduct full property quality checks and confirm all tasks on the checklists are completed to standard.
• Inspect interior and exterior areas, including entryways, garages, decks, and outdoor spaces
• Report all maintenance items clearly and promptly
• Notify Admin if a cleaner needs to return before guest check-in
• Identify and communicate cleaning issues before guests arrive

• Blow off garages, decks, entryways, and exterior walkways
• Ensure outdoor areas are tidy and presentable
• Stock supplies and polish high-touch interior areas
• Ensure the property is locked and secured after each quality inspection.

• Ensure one backup propane tank is available at each home
• Replace batteries in smart locks, remotes, and devices as needed
• Replace light bulbs and report faulty fixtures
• Perform minor fixes using basic tools, including small plumbing issues
• Make weekly or bi-weekly trips to the storage unit for supplies
• Own and operate a blower and basic tools
• Screwdriver for small fixes
• Hair snake for minor plumbing issues

• Communicate clearly and professionally via Slack
• Work independently and manage time efficiently
• Support the team (Cleaners, other Quality Checkers, Admin) during urgent situations when needed.

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation to and from work

Preferred qualifications:

• Own a personal vehicle
• Speaks English
• Available to work: weekends
• 1+ year of experience in the cleaning & maintenance services industry
