Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Management - Prepaid Backhaul
Full-time
As a Senior Analyst for Supply Chain Management - Prepaid Backhaul, you will be responsible for owning national accounts with suppliers that ship freight to Walmart by managing data analytics, metrics, and overseeing levels of service from a transportation perspective.

Responsibilities- Creating content to have business reviews with suppliers at higher levels.
- Building partnerships within accounts to improve relationships with Walmart.
- Managing issues daily between various transportation teams and suppliers’ teams to meet expectations within those contracts.
- Implementing business processes and improvement strategies by staying up to date on supply chain and replenishment processes and procedures.
- Researching and analyzing root cause of daily and escalated exceptions concerning shipping, receiving, inventory, and return related issues.
- Conducting performance reviews of merchandising department, distribution centers, and supporting field-level direction and providing guidance for the execution of operations by acting as a liaison for the field.
- Communicating operational expectations to suppliers and transporters.
- Implementing supply chain flow process improvement efforts by contributing to the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working between supply chain stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area
- 1 – 3 years of experience in the transportation and retail operations industry
- 1 – 3 years of experience with MS Office Suite
- You have a background in logistics and transportation
- Familiarity with EDI standards and integration
- You have strong communication and customer service skills
- You are motivated and determined to grow
- You have knowledge with Tableau and/or PowerBI
