As a Senior Data Scientist at Walmart, you will leverage advanced analytical techniques and domain expertise to identify, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions that support strategic business objectives. This role involves extracting and validating data from different sources, building scalable models, and delivering actionable insights through effective visualization and communication. You will collaborate across functions to translate complex business challenges into innovative data strategies, mentor team members, and ensure alignment with data governance and quality standards, driving measurable value and continuous improvement within the organization.

The 10X team comprises skilled Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, and Full Stack technologists dedicated to delivering scalable, data-driven solutions for Walmart. This multidisciplinary group combines expertise in AI, software engineering, and data science to develop autonomous AI agents, deploy reliable applications, and build core engineering capabilities at enterprise scale. By leveraging data, AI, and agile methodologies, the team drives innovation that enhances operational efficiency and supports Walmart’s mission.

• Identify and source relevant data from different business domains, ensuring data quality and suitability for analysis.
• Develop, test, and deploy advanced analytical models using programming languages such as Python and SQL.
• Perform model validation and tuning to ensure accuracy, robustness, and scalability in production environments.
• Translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions by applying appropriate statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Create clear and insightful data visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives and support decision-making.
• Mentor junior associates in data science methodologies and best practices.

• Extensive experience in data science and machine learning with proficiency in Python programming.
• Strong knowledge of data source identification, including SQL and No
  
  SQL databases, and data quality assessment.
• Expertise in analytical modeling, model validation, and deployment with an emphasis on scalability and sustainability.
• Proficiency in advanced data visualization techniques using tools such as Matplotlib, Plotly, and Tableau.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into data-driven solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Experience mentoring junior associates and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver actionable business insights.
• Solid understanding of data governance, management, and ecosystem principles to support data-enabled decision‑making.
