What you'll get to do

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team to ensure all areas of the property are clean and well-maintained
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
• Train and develop housekeeping staff to improve their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Manage and control housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment, minimizing waste and optimizing resources
• Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and efficient resolution of guest concerns

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
• Knowledge of safety and security procedures, with a focus on preventing accidents and ensuring a safe working environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology
