Senior Analyst, Tax

Position Summary

Support the operations and transformation of global Tax for the Spark Driver Program/Independent contractors. As Senior Analyst, you’ll help scale and optimize end-to-end tax processes for independent contractors, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to enterprise standards and drive improvements at the intersection of finance, technology, and the gig economy.

Our team is responsible for the seamless calculation, disbursement, and reporting of independent contractor earnings worldwide. We operate with a focus on compliance, data integrity, and continuous improvement, directly impacting both company performance and the experience of our global contractor network. This role is pivotal in setting best practices and driving operational rigor across the organization.

• Support accurate and compliant contractor tax (1099, withholding etc.) processes across global markets
• Maintain SOPs and track performance metrics for continuous operational improvement
• Analyze data and support automation initiatives to increase efficiency and minimize errors
• Collaborate with finance, technology, and compliance teams on process updates and projects

• 3–5 years’ experience in contractor earnings operations, financial disbursements, or tax administration
• Familiarity with US and global contractor tax compliance requirements
• Experience implementing or supporting technology solutions for process improvement
• Strong analytical skills and practical knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $ Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
