©Job Responsibilities
- Broad experience in multiple project types and clients, or کے deep expertise in a single area, with authorization to lead a client SAD team of 1–5 staff.
- Lead most project types or major portions of large projects in lighting design, power design, NEC, and other national standards.
- Resolve design challenges with minimal oversight, applying energy codes to power and lighting design.
- Work independently on most project and client types with minimal linebacker.
- Perform photometric calculations, lighting design, fault‑current calculations, create 1‑line diagrams and select suitable lighting systems and controls.
- Act as Design Lead or Engineer of Record, unless in a strictly technical role.
Train employees on company standards, drafting techniques, and technical questions related to electrical design and national standards. - Collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop construction documents based on client requirements, including project management and construction administration functions.
- Execute rigorous quality control on own and others’ projects for final review by Engineer of Record.
- Maintain direct client contact and establish project budgets, ensuring financial success.
- Serve as Engineer of Record on complex projects with approval from Director or Executive.
- Hold a professional engineering license in more than five states.
- Write specifications for any project type.
