• Lead client/client team (1-5 staff) on small to medium projects or portions of a large project, utilizing experience in lighting design, power design, NEC and other national standards to solve design challenges.
• Apply basic understanding of energy codes to power and lighting design with minimal oversight.
• Work independently on multiple project or client types with minimal supervision from a Senior Engineer or Designer.
• Apply photometric calculations, lighting design, fault current calculations and 1‑Line diagrams to select lighting systems and controls.
• Communicate effectively, demonstrating expertise in design challenges internally and externally.
• Produce construction documents and high‑level service for all phases of design.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit; train employees on company standards, drafting techniques, and technical questions related to electrical design, NEC, or other national standards.
• Collaborate with Architects and other Engineers to develop construction documents based on client requirements.
• Perform high‑level quality control of own projects and others for final review by Engineer of Record.
• Maintain direct client contact.
• Establish project budgets; collaborate with Electrical Team Lead to ensure financial success.
• Serve as Engineer of Record on simple projects or roll‑out clients with approval from Director or Executive.
• Be licensed in fewer than five states.
• Write specifications for most project types.

• Education:
  
  BSEE from an ABET‑accredited engineering program.
• Licensure:
  Licensed Professional Engineer.
• Management
  
  Experience:
  
  0–5 staff.
• Experience:
  
  Design of lighting and power systems, NEC, energy codes, photometric calculations, fault current calculations, 1‑Line diagrams.
