Food Stylist

eko (WEIV) is an innovative e-commerce startup dedicated to empowering brands to create, display, and optimize their video assets across digital platforms.

Thanks to our groundbreaking partnership with major retailers, and our ability to demonstrably increase e-commerce sales, we recently broke ground on a new facility focused on processing, capturing, and delivering data & media for millions of unique products annually.

Our first-of-its-kind facility opened in Northwest Arkansas this summer and will scale to hundreds of employees by the end of 2025.

The Food Stylist prepares and styles food for photography and video shoots, ensuring all food props and hero dishes meet the creative and technical standards set by the Food Leader.

• Prepare and style hero food items for photography and video shoots.
• Collaborate with Special Teams and Creative Associates on look, feel, and prop integration.
• Ensure food appears camera-ready under various lighting conditions.
• Assist with sourcing and prepping food materials as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of food styling areas.
• Stay updated on current food styling trends, photography techniques, and presentation aesthetics.
• Manage time efficiently on set, ensuring food looks fresh and appealing throughout production.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in both kitchen and studio environments.

• 2+ years food styling or culinary experience.
• Strong understanding of visual presentation of food.
• Ability to work quickly and maintain attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety standards.
• Exceptional eye for detail, color, texture, and composition.
• Ability to problem-solve creatively under time constraints and adapt quickly to direction.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with creative teams.
• Knowledge of current food trends, plating techniques, and visual storytelling.

• Ability to stand for long periods in a kitchen/studio environment.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs of equipment or ingredients.
• Operates within both studio and kitchen environments.
• Exposure to hot equipment, food odors, and varying temperatures.

This position pays an hourly rate. All hourly rates meet or exceed applicable state and federal minimum wage laws. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state law.
