Overview
Position Summary — Walmart is seeking a Sr Manager-Cross Border Expansion to join our growing and fast-paced eCommerce Marketplace team focusing on the Seller Fulfilled Business. This role sits at the intersection of Business, Product, Tech, Analytics, International, Marketing, Sales, and Support teams. This leader will drive the strategy for building and scaling a strategic initiative (Cross Border Seller Fulfillment using Ship with Walmart) by managing the International Seller On-Boarding and ramp strategy, owning the Seller Experience, incentives strategy, international lane expansion, and full business management (owning the P/L report).
This person will build out a team to help scale the program and lead improvements in seller performance for out-of-country shipments by implementing step-function changes to improve promise speed, delivery speed, and on-time delivery accuracy, in collaboration with Product and Research Science Teams. The role also considers expanding footprint to support sellers directly in their country of origin. The ideal candidate is data-driven, able to quickly identify trade-offs in prioritization, and capable of aligning with and earning trust across multiple stakeholders and teams.
This role requires financial background (owning the P&L) with experience launching products from analysis/segmentation to launch plans. Experience in the Seller Fulfillment space, including strategy development and execution, is required. This person must be skilled at engaging and communicating with a senior executive audience while balancing detailed analysis. It is also required to have experience on international marketplaces and understanding the nuances of importing goods into various countries.
