• Act as the go‑to data analysis expert on the Category Advisor team.
• Deliver robust data analytics tools and processes that empower the team to make informed decisions and drive category sales growth.
• Drive the Beer category modular relay process by enhancing product assortment models and overseeing the implementation/execution of modular automation tools.
• Champion a fact‑based Category First approach within the Category Advisor and Walmart Merchandising Teams.
• Create category segment solutions that advance all pillars of category management (space & assortment, rollback opportunities, category insights, in‑store merchandising) to accelerate Walmart’s leadership of the Beer category.
• Track, measure, and communicate results of initiatives.
• Use strong analytical and storytelling skills with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Summarize large datasets into actionable insights using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Alteryx.
• Communicate insights clearly to cross‑functional partners and Walmart Merchants.
• Deep understanding of Walmart Modular Relay process.
• Experience with syndicated databases such as Circana or NIQ and leveraging Walmart’s Luminate Shopper Behavior and Channel Performance platforms.
• Demonstrate ability to complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with business priorities in mind.
• Build relationships and collaborate to achieve desired outcomes.
• Take accountability for results, acting with integrity and honoring commitments.
• Maintain a thirst for learning and growth.

• At least 3 years of category management experience in the consumer‑packaged goods industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Statistics/Analytics or equivalent 4+ years of experience in the consumer‑packaged goods industry.
• Strong analytical and storytelling skills with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Alteryx.
• Experience with Walmart’s Luminate and Channel Performance platforms.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross‑functional partnership skills.

Salary range: $109,100 – $143,200 (posting salary range includes non‑discriminatory factors such as location, experience, skill set, and internal equity).
