Marketplace Fulfillment is looking for a Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics to work as a strategic partner across the organization. This role will work across forecasting, inventory management, and allocation to provide insights through the WFS org as we expand the business. The right candidate must thrive in a startup environment, navigate ambiguity, and prioritize competing priorities. You will provide insights to WFS leadership and influence strategic decision‑making.

• Bring a high degree of originality and creativity when developing solutions to improve existing business processes within forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain, utilizing methods such as statistical analysis, regression modeling, and optimization

• Manage and execute analytical initiatives from start to finish, including data collection and manipulation, analysis and modeling, and the communication of insights and recommendations.
• Build scalable, complex supply chain models and processes to develop forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain network strategies aimed at growing sellers, SKUs, inventory health for WFS, and delivering an excellent customer experience while achieving operating cost and service targets.
• Develop strong relationships and partner with functional areas such as product, data science, engineering, business operations, supply chain, and category managers to drive initiatives.
• Monitor progress for the annual operation plans and pivot when actuals do not align with plans.
• Identify areas of opportunity and influence execution of results via cross‑functional participation to enable quick wins and continuous improvement.
• Obtain alignment from relevant business partners and management support for projects and lead discussions to drive change.
• Effectively organize, assemble, and use all available resources when given a project to ensure success.
• Build and lead a team to execute on business area or category objectives. Coach, mentor, and provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by training, mentoring, assigning duties, and establishing performance expectations.
• Own complex projects end‑to‑end for a business area. Develop data models (algorithms, approaches) for complex projects within a business area or category to drive business results and value, and collaborate with the project team to implement modeling solutions.
• Lead the development and execution of advanced analytics to address unique business and technical problems and support data‑driven decision making. Make strategic recommendations to cross‑functional leadership based on analysis results.

• Excellent communication skills, experience writing strategic documents and decks.
• 5+ years of experience using SQL and Python.
• Strategic or tactical mindset:
  Ability to make decisions based on data and insights in real time.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field and 4 years’ experience in data analytics or a related field, OR 6 years’ experience in data analytics or a related field.

• Certificate in business analytics, data mining, or statistical analysis.
• Statistical programming languages (e.g., SAS, R).
• Master’s degrees in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Statistics.
