General Description of Position
:
The Early College Experience (ECE) Coordinator will manage the intake, processing, data tracking, and filing of all program-related paperwork, including applications, consent forms, course enrollment forms, and other administrative documents. The role will also include verifying accuracy, maintaining records, managing textbooks, ensuring compliance with institutional policies, and facilitating communication among students, faculty, and administrative staff. The coordinator would work closely with building administrators who oversee the Bentonville Schools ECE program.
- Document Management:
Maintain an organized system for all ECE paperwork, ensuring all documents are accurately processed and stored securely. - Recordkeeping:
Verify the completeness and accuracy of student records, ensuring all required paperwork is up to date for each enrolled student. Process NWACC course request changes (drops/adds). - Compliance:
Ensure adherence to NWACC policies, MOU agreements, and state regulations regarding dual credit enrollment. - Communication:
Serve as the main point of contact for students, parents, and staff, addressing questions about enrollment requirements and deadlines. - Coordination with Other Departments:
Collaborate with the registrar, academic departments, and student services to ensure seamless program delivery and student support. - Reporting:
Generate regular reports on paperwork status, and enrollment figures, and identify potential issues for program oversight and improvement. - Follow-Up:
Communicate with counselors, parents, and students when students fall behind in their coursework.
- Assist school staff and building administration as needed
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Communication Skills

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals;
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from parents and students.
Equipment
:
- Use standard office equipment such as personal computers and copiers.
Travel Requirements
:
Travel between schools, or between schools and central offices may be required for certain positions.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive student information.
- Proficiency in using administrative software and office technology (ex. Excel).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Work in standard office and school building environments.
- Ability to work outdoors during outdoor student activities.
- May occasionally be required to lift up to 20 lbs
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Prior successful experience preferred.
