Our Cath Lab provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Supervises, teaches, and delegates to other personnel in the performance of activities related to nursing care.

How you’ll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

  • Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors

  • Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment, and evaluation overall plan daily for effectiveness.

  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, provider, patient and family following chain of command as appropriate.

  • Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

  • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

  • Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient protecting patient's rights.

What we’re looking for:

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • BLS

  • ACLS

  • RCIS certification

  • Arkansas Specialty Limited Radiation license

  • Must be able to scrub Cath Lab procedures

  • On-Call Required

Monday-Friday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
