Universal Health Services - 100 RIVENDELL DRIVE [Medical Office Assistant / Admitting Clerk] As an Assessment Coordinator at Universal Health Services, you'll:
Perform psychosocial screening and evaluations of all patients, voluntary and involuntary, who present to the facility with a primary psychiatric or behavioral complaint;
Provide accurate evaluation of medical necessity, offering alternative levels of care when feasible;
Initiate a collection and assessment of information for payers;
Complete pre-certification and continued stay authorization;
Work with and serve as back-up to utilization review.
