Assessment and Referral RN - PRN Night Shift (7p-7a and/or 11p-7a)

Rivendell Behavioral Health Services is an 80‑bed full‑service behavioral healthcare acute care facility located in Benton, AR, that has been providing quality healthcare to the residents of Arkansas since 1985. It has over 35 years of experience in mental health and addiction treatment and partners with medical surgical hospitals, community mental health centers, educational institutions, and managed‑care organizations to deliver integrated care.

Responsibilities
  • Render professional nursing care to patients during the assessment and admission process.
  • Perform ongoing patient assessment through observation of physical and behavioral symptomatology.
  • Document all data accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the formulation of individual care plans for all patients and implement plans according to hospital policy.
  • Communicate pertinent data to other service areas as needed.
  • Assume responsibilities delegated to Admissions & Referral representatives as regularly needed.
  • Operate in accordance with competency guidelines and the full scope of practice outlined by the Arkansas Board of Nursing and agency protocols.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Hold or be eligible for an AR RN license (new graduates welcome).
  • CPR and Handle‑with‑Care/Verbal De‑escalation training will be provided upon hire; mandatory certifications.
  • Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with patients, families, visitors, and staff, and to collaborate as a team with all coworkers.
  • Demonstrated respect for all patients and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
