Mechanical Technician

Overview

The Laboratory Technician role within Appliance Development will support the product Innovation agenda to develop consumer-centric appliances across existing and new platforms in several categories and brands, supporting the development and commercialization of new concepts and prototypes.

• Develop and build bench-top test fixtures to support appliance testing and automation of experiments.
• Assist in the execution of experimental strategies.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and organized records of laboratory activities and experimental data.
• Operate safely and responsibly in a laboratory environment, adhering to all safety protocols and best practices.
• Utilize Microsoft Office for data preparation to facilitate analysis.
• Demonstrate adaptability and resilience in response to shifting business priorities and project needs.

• Associate degree in a technical, scientific, or engineering discipline (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 1 – 2 years of experience in a laboratory, mechanical, or engineering support role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands on experience working with equipment, fixtures, or test systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Pay: $34/Hour
