Uses student-centered instruction to sustain the specific courses and curricula mandated by the educational mission and goals of the College. Requires in-person instruction. This course is held on site at the Benton Harbor, Michigan campus.
Essential Functions- Instructs students in assigned classes utilizing instructional technology.
- Provides academic guidance and counseling to students in cooperation with Student Services Personnel.
- Maintains academic standards.
- Prepares course syllabus and outline.
- Monitors student progress.
- Keeps adequate and accurate records.
- Enters final course grades online.
Other duties as assigned.
AccountabilitiesUnder the direct supervision of the Department Chair, each part-time faculty member is responsible for satisfying the educational, administrative, and fiscal requirements inherent in his/her position.
Job SpecificationsMaster’s degree or higher in relevant discipline or subfield or Master’s degree and 18 graduate hours in relevant discipline or subfield.
Hiring Range$61 per contact hour
