Join Kuehne+Nagel as an Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist and play a key role in optimizing freight logistics, ensuring inventory and shipment flows, and supporting life‑critical deliveries.

• Manage and perform all operational activities reliably, accurately, and on‑time, minimizing overdue tasks and meeting defined customer deliverables.
• Follow the communication concept for effective communication with stakeholders.
• Monitor shipments, follow up on deviations, and provide accurate, timely updates for visibility in internal systems, including financial data.
• Review and clarify operational instructions when conflicts or deviations arise with regulatory requirements, routing, tracking, rate information, or other discrepancies.
• Report problems, operational disputes, or discrepancies to the direct supervisor promptly.
• Collaborate with partners/suppliers, gateway, warehouse, customs teams, the RCC, and external parties as needed.
• Monitor operational performance of carriers and other partners and elevate issues if commitments are not met.
• Partner with the Optimization Team for effective process execution, system set‑up/automation, maximizing system utilization, and minimizing manual processes.
• Maximize profitability through cost optimization.
• Actively participate in process improvement identification and implementation.
• Work with Sales and Customer Care teams on account implementation, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to operations.

• 3+ years of air logistics business unit experience handling air shipments.
• 2+ years of freight forwarding industry experience.
• High level of attention to detail, coupled with excellent communication and organizational skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven track record of airfreight knowledge and expertise.
• Customer‑service mindset with a "can‑do" attitude.
• Adaptable and eager to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Adherence to regulatory requirements and industry‑specific guidelines.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25 to $36.06. Base wage is part of a total rewards package determined by experience, skills, and other factors.
