Overview
Join Southwestern Vermont Medical Center's RN New Graduate Residency Program. Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) seeks New Graduate Registered Nurses to join Vermont's first accredited RN New Grad Residency Program. Units include Inpatient Medical/Surgical/Telemetry and Emergency Room. Our program is specially designed to provide support, guidance and help develop a nurse's knowledge and skill during the first year of practice while transitioning into the constantly changing world of healthcare.
Responsibilitiesand Qualifications
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing individualized, goal‑directed nursing care. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for creative, vibrant, results‑focused, and team‑oriented professionals who are well versed in patient‑centered, evidence‑based, outcome‑driven care.
- Minimum Education:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum
Work Experience: - Prior hospital or medical experience preferred.
- Required Licenses/
Certifications: - Ability to obtain valid Vermont State Registered Nurse licensure by date of employment required.
- Health Care Provider BLS, ACLS, PALS certification are required within 90 days of hire.
- Night shift and rotating weekends/holidays are requirements.

Nursing; - Pay Range: $32.00;
- Work Status: 7pm-7:30am or 11:00pm-7:30am;
