Overview
Through partnerships with VTSU, VSAC and the VBRT Foundation, the SVMC RN Pipeline Pathway Program provides an opportunity for successful applicants to maintain up to full-time employment at SVMC while studying to complete their Associate of Science in Nursing degree. Upon completion of this two-year apprenticeship, participants will be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN and apply for RN licensure.
The program is designed to support current employees who wish to pursue a nursing career and “earn while you learn!”
Requirements- You will remain at SVMC as an RN for at least two years or as many years the program supported you.
- Upon completion, employees will interview for RN new graduate positions at SVMC.
- Please note you may be required to work evenings, nights and weekends as a new RN.
- You may be required to move into another department during your two years in school in order to obtain your required work hours.
