- Salary: $150,000 - $200,000
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care Physician to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide specialized wound management services to patients in skilled nursing and long‑term care facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while working in a supportive, interdisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic wounds, including pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, and surgical wounds.
- Develop and oversee individualized wound care treatment plans.
- Perform wound debridement and other minor procedures as clinically indicated.
- Monitor wound healing progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and facility leadership to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide education and guidance to clinical staff on wound prevention and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
- Deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care with a focus on the geriatric population.
- MD or DO with an active and unrestricted state medical license.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- DEA license.
- Experience in wound care (long‑term care or skilled nursing experience a plus).
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable working with the geriatric population.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand/walk/work on your feet up to 6‑8 hours per day.
