SVMC is seeking an outpatient physical therapist to see patients in our outpatient department on the main hospital campus (Bennington, VT). The role also offers the opportunity to work at one of our satellite locations:
Deerfield Valley Health Center in Wilmington, VT;
Northshire Medical Center in Manchester, VT; or Twin Rivers in Hoosick Falls, NY.

• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients with congenital disabilities, developmental delays, or acquired conditions.
• Utilize exercises, play, and therapeutic activities to help children reach their maximum potential and participate in everyday activities at home and in their community.
• Commit to weekend fair‑turn shifts in the inpatient department.
• Supervise physical therapist assistants and students.

• Advanced knowledge and skills in pediatric development and disorders.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, accommodating varying hour requirements.

Outpatient rehabilitation provides physical, occupational and speech therapy at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center and SVMC’s satellite campuses across the region. The rehabilitation program serves patients of all ages with many specialty rehab services, including vestibular therapy, hand therapy, and lymphedema therapy.
