Position: Pain Management Physician / Anesthesiologist - Southwestern Vermont Medical Center

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC), a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Pain Management Physician / Anesthesiologist to join a team of established anesthesiologists, pain management specialists and anesthesiologist assistants. Position would be roughly 60/40 Anesthesia/Pain.

Opportunity Highlights

* Engaged Anesthesiology / Pain Management team which is highly invested in teamwork and optimal patient outcomes

* Manageable anesthesia caseload to include endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and urology . N o cardiac or trauma cases.

* Pain cases to include epidurals, radio frequency ablation, neuromodulation, bedside procedures; ultrasound and x-ray guidance. No medication management.

* Comprehensive compensation plan to include $545,134 salary, $50,000 sign-on bonus and $100,000 in retention incentives over five years.

* Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) through 501 (c)(3) nonprofit status

* 12 weeks of vacation, Biannual CME allowance of $6,000 and malpractice insurance with tail coverage

Qualifications

• Current or eligible for Vermont Medical License
• Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification in Pain Management and Anesthesiology (to be obtained within 5 years)
• Active hospital staff membership
