Automotive Service Advisor

Job Summary

Were seeking a seasoned Automotive Service Advisor who knows how to manage a service drive, build trust with customers, and keep communication clear between guests and technicians. This role is ideal for an advisor who understands the pace of a busy shop and takes pride in doing things the right wayno shortcuts, no games.

Youll be the key connection between our customers and our service team, ensuring repairs are properly explained, accurately estimated, and completed efficiently.

Coggins Auto Group is a family-owned dealership group serving Bennington County, VT and Berkshire County, MA, with Toyota, Honda, and independent service operations. • Greet customers professionally and create a positive first impression

• Listen to customer concerns and clearly explain recommended services

• Write accurate repair orders and provide realistic time and cost estimates

• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and quality repairs

• Communicate updates, changes, and approvals clearly and proactively

• Inspect vehicles for maintenance needs and safety concerns

• Maintain detailed and accurate customer records

• Deliver a stress-free, transparent service experience from start to finish

• Previous Service Advisor experience preferred (2+ years strongly desired)

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple repair orders in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team

• Professional, organized, and solutions-oriented mindset

• Valid drivers license preferred

Schedule

• Monday Friday: 7:30 AM 5:15 PM

• Rotating Saturdays: 7:45 AM 1:00 PM
