Job SummaryMOR PPM Inc. is seeking scaffold builders for an outage in Bennettsville, SC. Scaffold Builder is responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding at job sites. Must have 1-2 years work experience as a Scaffold Builder.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Constructing scaffolding at job sites
- Dismantling scaffolding at job sites
- Determining the amount of materials needed, transporting materials to job site, and identifying appropriate construction locations
- Adhering to the Company’s safety standards and enforcing safety regulations
- Cleans all work areas
- Performs any other duties assigned by supervisor
- Performs all work in a safe and efficient manner and keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand;
walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. May be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must have 1-2 years work experience as a Scaffold Builder
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Physical Demands- Occasional lifting of items weighing a maximum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairwells up to 15 levels high.
- Ability to ascend and descend ladders (step, extension, cage) up to 24’ high.
- Able to walk at a normal pace for up to 15 continuous minutes.
- Able to work from a standing position for 8-12 hours.
- Ability to twist and bend on a recurring basis.
- Weather conditions that can be expected are wet, humid, heat and cold, bright/dim light, traffic, heights, dusts, and pollen.
- The job requires normal visual acuity, field vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, sense of smell, depth perception, and texture perception.
- Some environments are in a high noise and vibrating area.
