Route Sales/Delivery Driver - Class B CDL - Benicia, CA

Reliant Holdings is looking for a route sales delivery driver who can take care of our current customers as well as expanding the business. The position includes transporting dry ice, gel packs, and insulated containers for our customers' shipping purposes and frozen needs in the Benicia, California Area. This is a local driving position during the day and our drivers are home every night with their families.

The applicant must have strong customer service skills, organizational skills, driving experience and a Class B CDL. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay, as well as late model straight trucks.

Summary

Drives truck over established route to deliver and sell products or render services, collects money from customers, and makes change by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Drives truck to deliver CO2 to customers' home or place of business.
  • Installs CO2 and performs maintenance.
  • Collects money from customers, makes change, and records transactions on customer receipt.
  • Records sales or deliveries information on daily sales or delivery record.
  • Calls on prospective customers to solicit new business and informs regular customers of new products or services.
  • Listens to and resolves service complaints and collects or picks up empty containers.
  • Loads truck.
  • Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
  • Cleans inside of truck.
  • Schedules routine maintenance on truck.
