Learn more:  As an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents.

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, tank farms, gates, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access by checking identification, issuing visitor instructions, managing sign-in and/or badge processes as directed, and monitoring entry and exit points in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving radio calls, observing and reporting suspicious activity, and coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public responders when directed.
• Complete timely reports and logs such as patrol documentation, incident reports, and shift turnover notes, and monitor cameras and/or alarm panels when assigned.

• Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
