Experienced Caregiver – High-Needs Client Support (Full Transfers Required) - 12 Hour Shifts

$20.00/hr - $21.00/hr

• Hands-on assistance with all ADLs: toileting, transferring, dressing, and mobility
• Full transfer support (when needed)
• Proactive support including light housekeeping and keeping the client engaged
• Mental stimulation through conversation, board games, writing activities
• Collaborative work with the client’s family for seamless care

• Physically capable of assisting with full transfers safely
• Confident, attentive, and reliable
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work independently and take initiative

Bonus if you have experience working with Parkinson’s or similar mobility challenges.

• Delivering exceptional care to the dedicated client in their home
• Help execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans
• Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs)
• Provide personal companionship and ongoing social & emotional support
• Assist with personal care activities including hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, meal preparation
• Maintain safety and client enjoyment at all times
• Administrative functions such as documentation and reporting changes in the client’s condition

• Must have a minimum of 1 year professional caregiving experience
• Reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License
• Alzheimer's or Dementia experience is a plus
• Empathy, compassion and kindness a MUST
• Ability to use sound judgement and remain calm in various situations
• Reliable, dependable and on time
• Basic computer skills and overall technical savvy
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a background check and provide references

Our client is living with Parkinson’s and has limited mobility. He uses a wheelchair and requires full transfers  benefits from caregivers who provide physical care as well as daily engagement through simple activities and companionship.
