Ledgent Finance & Accounting is currently recruiting for a seasoned Controller to join a manufacturing client located in Benicia, CA
. This is a full‑time, onsite opportunity ideal for a professional with a strong background in manufacturing finance and cost accounting. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with leadership to maintain financial integrity and operational efficiency.

• Oversee daily accounting functions and ensure smooth financial operations.
• Generate monthly financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, forecasts, and strategic insights.
• Provide financial guidance and analysis to support executive decision‑making.
• Develop and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures to support business growth.
• Contribute to long‑term financial planning and strategy.
• Present financial data and performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cash flow activities, including receivables and payables.
• Administer payroll processing for salaried employees.
• Supervise and support the finance team, fostering professional development.

• Industry Experience
  :
  Must have a background in manufacturing.
• Education
  :
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• Experience
  : 10‑20 years in a Controller role within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Skilled in interpreting financial data and identifying trends.
• Proven leadership and communication abilities.
• Proficient in financial systems, including ERP platforms and Crystal Reports.
• Knowledge of compliance standards and financial regulations.
