Main duties of the job
As a Registered Nurse at HC-One you will build on your existing skill set, practising in a nurse‑led environment and developing complex decision‑making and collaborative skills. You will provide person‑centred care, guide residents in life‑changing decisions, and act as a mentor and practice supervisor. You will support effective communication, uphold professional standards and NMC guidelines, and promote safeguarding and resilience in our care homes.

• Provide safe, high‑quality nursing care and support to residents and families.
• Undertake assessments, plan and review care as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Lead and mentor junior staff, students and practitioners.
• Advocate for residents, safeguard their wellbeing and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation and uphold NMC standards.
Person specification Qualifications- NMC registered with a valid PIN.
- Minimum 12 months post‑qualification experience in Health or Social Care.
- Experience supervising students or probationers.
- Experience in a care home or similar setting.
- Experience in complex decision‑making and multi‑disciplinary collaboration.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and safeguarding training.
- Confidence using digital care‑planning tools.
This post requires a DBS check. By application, you will confirm your working‑right in the UK.
