We are looking for a highly skilled Qualified Teacher (QTS) to join a high-achieving SEND team in Benfleet
.

Based in a specialised setting or an enhanced resource provision, this role involves teaching small class groups of learners with diverse needs, including Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD) and Autism (ASD). You will be responsible for creating an environment where every child feels secure enough to explore their potential.

• Differentiated Planning: Design and deliver a bespoke curriculum that meets the sensory and cognitive needs of each pupil.
• Lead Support Teams: Direct and collaborate with a team of specialised Learning Support Assistants to provide a cohesive learning experience.
• EHCP Management: Align classroom activities with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring measurable progress for every child.
• Parental Engagement: Maintain strong lines of communication with families to ensure a consistent approach to learning and behaviour.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
• Experience in a SEND-specific environment or a strong background in inclusive mainstream teaching.
• Expert knowledge of adaptive teaching strategies and non-verbal communication aids.
• A proactive, solution-focused attitude toward classroom challenges.
