• Prepare food for residents and fulfill requests.
• Plate food, wash and sanitize dishes.
• Ensure condiment and beverage containers are clean and filled.
• Assist with food preparation as needed.
• Maintain infection control standards.
• Relate and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.

• Food Handler’s card (or ability to obtain one).
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Lift and move up to 40 pounds.
• Compassion and interest in working with the senior population.
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, safe demeanor.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality and a home‑like environment for residents.
