East Bend Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled, outgoing technician who enjoys building strong relationships with clients while delivering exceptional patient care in a multi-species practice caring for cats, dogs, and exotic pets.
In this role, you will:
- Provide high-quality patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient preparation and recovery, dental cleanings, and dental radiographs.
- Support efficient exam room flow while delivering excellent client communication and education.
- Review treatment plans, provide clear discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians and support staff during outpatient visits to ensure the highest level of patient care.
This position is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who are passionate about exceptional patient and client care, and ready to work at the top of their license in a supportive, team-focused environment.
This is a full-time position, with a 3/12 or 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday with Saturdays as needed.
Full-time benefits and compensation**- Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $2000
- CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

- 5+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Oregon
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Client communication
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Dental prophy
- IVC placement
- Outpatient care
