Schedule: Monday-Friday, occasional weekend/after-hours on-call rotation
Compensation: $40.00 - $47.00 an hour, DOE
Embark Behavioral Health Bend is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our residential treatment team supporting adolescents ages 10–17. In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical care, administer medications, conduct health assessments, and play a key part in helping young people and their families heal. This position is ideal for a collaborative, mission-driven nurse passionate about mental health and making a meaningful difference.

Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive medical care for students, including responding to medical emergencies and general health needs
- Promptly address reports of pain or illness with thorough student assessments
- Accompany students to medical appointments and communicate outcomes to parents and staff
- Check and record vital signs and weights as assigned
- Accurately dispense medications and maintain the Medication Administration Record
- Perform counting and tracking of narcotics every shift
- Monitor and document student mood, behavior, and affect, especially during medication changes
- Coordinate lab draws as needed
- Communicate relevant medical information to the Treatment Team and Psychiatrist
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards
- Complete all activities required to maintain an active Oregon nursing license
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in mental health nursing, preferably in acute or residential settings
- Familiarity with psychiatric medications
- Crisis de‑escalation skills; CPI training preferred
- Valid Oregon driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass State and Federal background checks
- Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Openness to feedback and commitment to ongoing professional development
- Proficiency in medical terminology, legal charting, and medication administration
- Skill in using nursing tools and equipment (stethoscopes, BP cuffs, thermometers, diagnostic tools, etc.)
- Ability to accurately assess physical conditions and document findings
- Basic computer skills, including word processing and navigating electronic systems
- Experience working with adolescents is a plus, but not required
