Are you a dedicated and dynamic leader with a passion for veterinary medicine? Do you thrive on driving growth while fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture?
National Veterinary Associates is seeking an enthusiastic Multi-Site Veterinary Hospital Manager to oversee two practices and help lead our teams into their next phase of success.

As a Multi-Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of both hospitals — ensuring exceptional patient care, outstanding client service, strong financial performance, and cohesive team leadership across locations. Your strategic oversight and operational expertise will directly influence hospital growth, culture, and profitability.

As a Multi-Site Hospital Manager, you will serve as the operational leader for two veterinary practices, working closely with the Managing Veterinarian(s) and regional leadership. With the support of an Assistant Manager, you will ensure the efficient, compliant, and profitable operation of both hospitals.

You will drive revenue growth, manage expenses, oversee staffing and scheduling strategies, and cultivate a culture rooted in compassionate care and exceptional client service. This role requires strong leadership presence, strategic thinking, and consistent on-site engagement at both locations.

Regular in-person attendance at both practices is a fundamental requirement of this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Full ownership of P&L performance across two hospital locations
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to identify trends and forecast operational needs
  • Oversee accounts receivable and financial reporting
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and administrative/facility expenses
  • Oversee payroll and labor management across both sites
  • Develop hospital schedules in partnership with the Assistant Manager and clinical leadership
  • Drive operational consistency and best practices across locations
  • Champion change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
  • Lead and mentor hospital leadership teams, including the Assistant Manager
  • Strengthen workflows across client service, clinical operations, and administration
  • Implement technology and process improvements to increase efficiency
  • Establish and nurture a positive, collaborative, and accountable culture
  • Ensure licensure compliance for all DVMs
  • Deliver performance feedback and manage challenging conversations professionally
  • Model and reinforce the highest standards of client service
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
  • 3–5+ years of experience in a leadership or multi-unit management role
  • Experience in veterinary, healthcare, retail, or service-based industries strongly preferred
  • Proven success managing budgets, labor, and operational KPIs
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on operational involvement
