We are currently seeking:
Laundry Attendant, Full-time

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00AM - 3:30 PM

Starting wage: $20.00 per hour or more, depending on experience, benefit-eligible

As a Laundry Attendant, you will enrich lives every day by ensuring that each of the resident’s personal laundry, as well as laundry needs across all departments, are sorted, cleaned, folded and appropriately returned promptly each day, for residents to enjoy. This is not your standard Laundry position – at Touchmark, you have the daily opportunity to build long-term relationships with the wonderful people who call this community “home!”

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred, but not necessary, to have experience working as a Laundry attendant in a resort or retirement community
  • Be willing to work occasional weekends and holidays or fill in when needed
  • Be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
  • Have reliable and consistent attendance
