About The Newberry

As a Guest Experience Guide, you’ll blend front desk service with local insight and a sense of hospitality that goes beyond routine check-ins. You’ll welcome guests, help them discover Bend like a local, and make sure their stay is seamless and story-worthy—from arrival to departure.

• Welcome every guest with warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality
• Personalize the check-in/check-out experience using Hilton systems
• Curate and share authentic local recommendations—from hidden hiking gems to craft beer hotspots
• Promote Hilton Honors with energy and ease
• Answer guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and graciously
• Maintain the charm and cleanliness of the lobby and public spaces
• Operate front desk systems and process payments with accuracy
• Assist with pantry and retail sales, showcasing local products when possible
• Support the front desk team with administrative and service duties
• Monitor safety and report maintenance needs to ensure a smooth guest experience

• A passion for hospitality and community
• A calm, confident presence—even on busy days
• Great communication skills and a warm, approachable demeanor
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a dynamic environment
• Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of hotel software and point-of-sale systems
• A working knowledge (or excitement to learn!) about Bend and its surroundings

• $21-$23/hour
